Hello dearest reader. I am Dave Krugman, the Founder of ALLSHIPS, and I'm thrilled to kick off a new series of editorials here. The core ethos of ALLSHIPS is that we are here to elevate artists, push collaboration over competition, and work together to prove that a creative life is possible.

To that end, this week on Twitter I asked the community to come together and reccomend artists to feature for a highlight. This is the first of those efforts- and the selection process was nothing short of agonizing- in a good way! There is so much talent out there and we had hundreds of entries. Check them all out here, please share, follow, and support everyone you can. Obviously I can't include everyone each time, but here are ten artists who stood out on my first look through the thread.

Really blown away by the stunning portraiture work by @photosbyswati, its so well produced and the attention to detail is clear and compelling. This stood out to me right away!

Another artist that really stood out to me in the thread is @louisdazy. It's a very cinematic style that I enjoy, its transportive and has story packed in every frame. Really digging the work and looking forward to diving deeper.

I was particularly impressed with the work of @AlizeJireh, and their use of color and light to convey a story. I love the work in NO LAND IN SIGHT especially.

Another incredibly and entirely unique artist that caught my eye is the amazing laser_lew! This artist works with glass and sculptural forms that are lit with lasers- the results are both psychedilec and astonishing.

Another artist that caught my eye is @shaldrian, a photographer based in Cuba. This is a skilled documentary photographer with such a clear eye for composition and story. I would point to this work if someone asked me for an example of powerful reportage.

More beautiful work that stood out from the crowd- @dhekhandelwal has a compelling style, rich with color but perfectly muted to create a symphony of sights. You can connect with him via his website.

More work that caught my eye this week was @landscapesbyLT. This style is fascinating to me, studying the beauty that unfolds when certain weather conditions collide. These are both beautiful and technically impressive.

The concept art of @_twhiteart_ is another entry that I had to feature. I just absolutely love this painterly style which looks like the old masters visited the future. I could get lost for hours looking at the details in each frame.
